As you can see from the sign, this is the Brownstone Cafe, located in Middletown, PA, USA. The cafe itself was formed from the lobby of what was originally a bank and the original vault is still in the back. The stone it was made from is called brownstone (which you’ve probably already guessed) and is common in the local area. In the town of Hummelstown nearby there are a few churches which were made from large amounts of the stone since there used to be quarries in the area for it. I have had the chance to visit and it is a nice restaurant with reasonable prices so if you find yourself in the area I’d recommend stopping by.
